Upload guide: what photo works best

For the best result, use a clear standing photo with your head at the top centre of the frame, looking down at the camera.

• Pose and framing: This template is framed from a low angle between your legs, looking up, with you standing over the camera, legs spread and framing the sides of the frame, your head at the top centre looking down.
• One person only: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Eyes: Look down at the camera with your eyes open and your face unobstructed.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth area uncovered in the photo.
• Outfit: Your top and upper clothes from your photo are kept fully in place and covered; the pose and camera angle come from the reference image.
• Light and sharpness: Choose a recent photo in bright, even light, in high resolution, with your face in sharp focus. Skip screenshots with black bars or app buttons, photos of another screen, and heavy filters that reshape your face.
• Avoid: eye-level portraits, faces turned away, distant photos, dark or blurry photos.
