Upload guide: what photo works best

Start with a close front-facing photo with your face large in the frame, mouth open and tongue out.

• Mouth: Keep your mouth open with your tongue out, and nothing covering your lips.
• Eyes and gaze: Keep your eyes locked on the camera, with no sunglasses and no hair across your eyes.
• Framing: Use a close front-facing view, with your face large in the frame and looking at the camera.
• Just you: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Light and quality: Use a recent, high-resolution photo with bright, even light on your face and sharp focus. Do not upload a screenshot with black bars or app buttons, a photo of a screen, or a heavily filtered photo that changes your face shape.
• Do not use: back views, distant full-body shots, mouths closed or covered, dark or blurry photos.
